Help build the founding team.
standards is hiring its first editorial team — the people who will report, check, and edit the work. We hire deliberately, not quickly: the founding roles set the standard everything after them is measured against. There is a one-time window of experienced journalists looking for mission-driven work, and we intend to use it well.
Every role here is bound by the Editorial Charter. If that document describes the kind of place you want to work, we want to hear from you — even if your title isn't listed below.
Editor-in-Chief
Holds final editorial authority and stewards both the Editorial Charter and the AI Editorial Intelligence system. Appointed — and removable — only by the CEO and the independent Editorial Board acting together, never by either one alone.

Neutrality by methodology begins here. The fact-audit and bias-audit gates operationalizing neutrality at the story level.
